hi everyone sorry been so quite for a while but we are all ok in deepest wales, we have been doing a fencing job for someone and been away alot lately so not had time to go on line. we are all fine, the ducks are great and we have 2 shows coming up so will keep you posted and we are thinking of going to the one at satffors in december but we will see how we do after the first 2. we have a few x breed chuck eggs in the bators for ourselves for next year but that is all. we have picked next years breeding birds and so what we have left is for sale and we seem to have a lot so will maybe thin some of the drakes out just now. will try and keep in touch but it may not be possible for another couple of weeks glad to here everyone else is ok though lots of love duckmad

Hello everybody... Glad you 2 have had a good season.Still trying to sort out my birds for next year.Replacing some of the 3rd year layers this next seaason with some home bred Marans and Welsomer.Only adding 4 Exchequers to the hatching egg flock as the others are 2 year olds. Bred a good few Black Sumatra game this year and a few Spangled Hamburg, sadly only 2 cockerals though. Wyandotte laced bantams have done well, have about 48 birds to choose from for next season..some very niced Silver laced. Buff Cochin started feather pecking..bloody things and have had the tail off the cockeral.. The rats are back..costing me as much to feed them as the chicken . Going down for the Ross sale and entering quite a few birds..may see you there. Dave
