hi henman sounds like the dreaded snitch (mycoplasma) if one has it they will all get it, egg production will drop through the floor and they will die, any new birds will also get it. are they sneezing or coughing the best thing we have found is go to the vets and ask for soluble tylan, they should give it to you for poultry. it is a sod to mix but about a teasthingy to a bucket of water works, it wont mix very well but if you then pour it into a washing up bowl for them to drink it mixes better then, they need to be on this for 3 days, we normallly treat for 5, throw the eggs away for this time as they will be caryying antibiotics, dont mess about and treat the lot, you may still lose one or two but it will clear any unseen infection in the others and might save a couple of the ones not to bad. you can also inject into the breast with tylan 200 it is 0.1ml per bird but his is time consuming and needs to be done every day for 3 days, we find the soluble much easier to deal with. hope this helps duckmad
