If water containers are constantly being frozen during the cold weather, then try putting a ball in it, as it floating away will make sure it doesnt freeze completely, and once u push it all the cie around it breaks. Fangs

I just empty the waterers and re-fill in the morning , as its very important even in the winter to make sure they all have fresh water . Not always an easy task as most of my chooks are on a piece of land about half a mile away , with no running water i have to take my own water up .
