hi if anyone is interested in hatching a few ducks we keep saxony cayuga silver appleyard rouen khaki campbells abacot ranger blue swedish pekins ( thats ducks not chickens ) and several colours of calls all of the large ducks are now in lay even the pekins who have started halfheartedly, and they are all fertile. The calls are thinking about it and occasionally lay an egg for fun, all the ducks are exhibition standard and some did quite well last year at the two shows we went to ( only did it for a laugh) eggs are £1 each plus postage and packing, reply to this thread or send me a private message or e mail duckmad ( alias fiona)

hi david just to update you the saxony are still just in lay and not very fertile yet although we ahve just bought another 2 pairs so that should help the average. out of the calls only the blue fawn are in lay at the moment. let me know what you are after and i will let you know when we can sort you out with the eggs. as far as i know there are not many calls inlay anyway at the moment, everyone i talk to seems to be having the same problem wit their ducks and that is that they wont come into lay this year duckmad
